Top Five UFO Movies of All Time

mothershipMovies that utilize an UFO spacecraft provide us with entertainment, some give us a fright, but they all seem to capture the imaginations of their audiences. This is more then likely why there are literally hundreds of movies that involve an UFO in some way, shape, or form.

As an avid movie lover and UFO enthusiast, I can not wait to see what new UFO type movies come out in the future. As computerized special effects are becoming more powerful and stunning every single day, it comes as no surprise that the next generation of UFO movies will have the most realistic spacecraft ever digitally constructed.

Until a new outstanding UFO movie is release, below is a list of my absolute favorite UFO movies of all time. If you have not seen one of these movies before, you are probably an alien. Because everyone on this planet has seen these tremendous UFO classics, right?

A simply amazing Steven Spielberg film, where Richard Dreyfuss has an UFO sighting experience which leads him and others to the Devil’s Tower in Wyoming. Only to discover that U.S. Military are already there, searching for them with knock-out gas spraying helicopters. Then the lights in the sky appear and attempts are made to communicate with an ominous sounding electronic organ, which leads to an unforgettable ending

If you have not seen this movie, you are truly missing out on a UFO classic.

So your 4th of July weekend is just beginning and your looking forward to some delicious barbecue… When numerous large alien spacecraft start positioning themselves above major cities around the globe, the count down has begun, the extraterrestrials attack! The fate of all of earth now rest in the hands of Will Smith and a cable repair man (Jeff Goldblum).

This is one of those movies that I can just watch repeatedly.

3.) Fire in the Sky (1993)

Based on the true alien abduction story of Travis Walton, this movie recreates the strange events that happened November 5, 1975 in Snowflake, Arizona. While driving back to down in a truck Travis and his co-worker have an UFO sighting, in a twist of events Travis is taken.

This movie depicts frightening events that occurred to Travis while aboard the alien spacecraft , which left me sleeping uneasy for a week or so.

A hilarious tale of Earth being invaded little green men with a fatal affliction to bad music. You’ll laugh you ass off when these Martians attack.
