On August 3rd at 10:45pm, while driving near Dunboyne a Senior Grarda Officer observed a triangular shaped craft in the sky, with bright lights at each point. Amazed, the police office stopped and filmed the strange craft with his camera phone. As the man observed the hovering craft, it began to shine a vibrant “laser beam” down to Earth, all of which he caught on film.
While the video has not been officially release to the public, it was shown to numerous UFO enthusiasts at a paranormal convention in Dublin. The video has since been described as the best UFO footage ever taken.
Lately, it seems as though there has been a rash of UFO sightings around north Dublin and Meath. Five days earlier, on July 29th, a pilot unknowingly photographed a triangular-shaped UFO from Howth pier. On August 8th, Jimmy Peppard a Town Councillor in Trim, reportedly witnessed a triangular-shaped object in the sky. The object measured “about a mile in diameter” and remained in the air for about thirty minutes.
At this point in time, it is unclear why there have been so many UFO sightings in Ireland recently. Some believe that it is all due to advanced military testing. While others believe that it is due to the construction of a new highway nearby, which may have disturbed something. Of course there are those that insist that it is all one big elaborate hoax. But, now with creditable witnesses such as a Police Office, a Politician, and an experienced pilot, it’s hard to believe that it’s a big joke.
